New Year – New ISO protocol, new levels of activity
We are well into the New Year and it has been interesting for sure. With the start of every New Year there is a measure of renewal – a new beginning.
This year is no different for Access Precision as we are slated to renew our ISO certification under the new protocol ISO 9001:2015 this year. Planning is well underway and we look forward to a successful completion later this year.
The year has gotten off to a good start with the Oil and Gas industry showing a measure of increased activity which we imagine is really welcome for our brothers and sisters in Alberta. We are happy to see some life being breathed into a critical industry for the country – welcome back.
Our other industry sectors are also showing good levels of activity as well – Aerospace, Transportation, Forestry, Alternate energy, Industrial engineering are all rolling along.
We have had a robust winter this year ( at least by our standards ) with a few stretches of fairly cold weather. The last week or so has seen us trending towards spring with snow melting and the prospect of all the fun things in the Shuswap coming back – not to dismiss the skiers/boarders, sledders, skaters etc. I am showing my bias – I am a summer guy and I am not sure there is a better place to be than in the Shuswap in the summer.
Here is wishing our customers, vendors and friends a happy and prosperous new year and here is to cheering on spring !
