Fall Update

We are well into Fall at this point, and it has been magnificent with warm temps, the trees as colourful as I can remember.

But all good things come to an end and winter is just around the corner.

We have been busy at Access Precision – we added a new machine in the summer, a Mazak i800, which adds to our compliment of 5 axis machines.

We have managed to stick handle the materials markets with the mutual tariffs in place between the US and Canada. It has made for interesting times in sourcing materials and trying to maintain price predictability.   Our goal is and continues to be to do the best we can for our customers on every front – material supply, quality manufacturing, pricing, delivery.

Always looking to be at the leading edge  - we had a team attend IMTS in Chicago this year and had an opportunity to explore the latest and greatest in manufacturing technology - we anticipate that we will be adding new capabilities in the coming while as a result.

We continue to be optimistic with regard to the future; tariff’s and the like aside, most of the market sectors we work for are experiencing steady volume and continue to present us with challenging assignments.

We are thankful for the year that has passed and are happy to see the days of 2015 /  2016 fade further into the background, as these were tough years for many in our industry.
