Mike Melin, a 'Red Seal Machinist' founded Access Precision Machining in 1997. With his extensive experience in machining and diversified business in oil and gas, forestry, mining, automotive and other industries. Mike knows what Customers want. He has talents that no other CNC Machine Shop can offer! He specializes in what other CNC shops cannot do. That is where APM will provide you with what Customers cannot find anywhere else.

Right from the start Mike's goal was to be able to work for clients that required more demanding CNC machine shop services.

Accordingly he built a team of skilled CNC machinists and apprentices and chose to use Mazak machine centers with the latest technology.

• And extensive set of QC equipment including a Mititoyo CMM, New Zeiss CMM, Optical Comparator, AmScope, Hardness Testers, Surface Testers, Thread Gauges, Micrometers and related measuring tools.
• Skills for creating jig and fixtures to hold the most complicated of shapes.
• A huge inventory of tooling for our size of shop that allows us to keep the work flowing.
• Pallets warehoused with special tooling and jigs for building repeat runs of parts.
